During the proposed tracks you will be able to visit cities and villages with great historical and architectural interest, such as Ribadavia, Allariz, Celanova, Carballiño, Vilanova dos Infantes or Pazos de Arenteiro to name a few.

Wine tourism

Ourense is one of the most important provinces in Spain regarding wine, because it has 4 different Appellations of Origin (Denominación de Origen - D.O. in Spanish) within its borders. So, we will combine bike tourism with wine toursism, offering you the chance of visiting several wineries in the appellations of origin D.O Ribeiro and D.O. Ribeira Sacra.

During these visits, the winemakers will explain firsthand how they produce their wines, and of course you will have a chance of tasting their wines if you wish.

Warning: in both Spain and Portugal the same alcohol limits apply for drivers than for cyclists, so we encourage you to drink responsibly while you are out cycling. The insurance offered with this package DOES NOT COVER you if you are biking under the influence.

Gastronomy

Gastronomy is without any doubt something essential in Galicia. That is why during these cycling routes you can stop to eat at tapas bars and traditional restaurants of the region, usually located in places with wonderful views.

In these restaurants you can try some of the most famous Galician dishes such as octopus (pulpo), lamprey (lamprea), beef stew (carne ó caldeiro) and of course seafood (marisco).
